Penn State’s Beaver stadium will once again be considered the largest stadium in the country for at least the 2008 & 2009 football seasons. U of Michigan reached an agreement with the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America settling their lawsuit in which the U.S. Department of Justice was a co-plaintiff.Read the whole story here.What makes this even better is that they can’t just cheat and make their seats smaller again and renumber them.Today is a good day…if only I could find a job…ye69p946.jpg

Putting aside the fact that Obama is in the lead in the delegate count and putting aside that the past week both Hillary and Bill have been hinting at the idea of a Clinton/Obama ticket, all of a sudden the Clinton camp is now claiming that Obama isn’t even qualified to be VP? This boggles my mind. I forgot that being married to a President who screwed around on you and giving up on having anything to do with policy once the insurance deal fell through makes you clearly more qualified to run the country. Howard Woflson needs to find some traffic and then walk into it. Not that I’m really surprised, this is from the mastermind of the plagiarism charge that Obama stole part of a speech made in Milwaukee. Yes, because that’s the difference between someone who can lead our country in a new direction and someone who spent 8 years selecting the furnishings of the White House.

Just what I need – another distraction from writing my thesis…Well, I’ve had the domain name www.maggievenema.com for a while now and since I haven’t had the motivation or the $ to turn it into the page I’d really like (showcasing my photography, etc.), for now it’s going to serve as a location for me to spew all the thoughts I have on a daily basis. Now that I’m unemployed my schedule has allowed me to watch more MSNBC (“The Place for Politics”) and other television that really has no business being on the air. This blog will generally serve as a running commentary on how sad the above really is. Feel free to comment (it will give me something other than scholarly research on asbestos litigation legislation to read)
